Пользуюсь вашей кампанией ни 1й раз, но сегодня -- "не повезло".
Для начала -- у вас напутали с адресом, был указан проспект, а повезли -- на улицу. Как результат -- опоздание по времени. Но это ладно, не критично. Сам заказ -- цветы оказались бледно-бледно-розового цвета и явно не 1й свежести. Pidhorodne: from Cossack winter quarters to a town on the Dnipro
The first known settlements on the Kilchen River appeared in the early 17th century as winter quarters of Cossacks from Stara Samara, known from about 1600 as the Bohorodytski farmsteads. In 1778 they were merged into the military settlement of Pidhorodna, named for its closeness to the provincial city of Katerynoslav. The first stone highway in the province, 9 versts long, linked it to Katerynoslav in 1856, and an airfield built in 1930 served as Dnipropetrovsk's main airport until 1951. Pidhorodne became a town in 1981 and was officially renamed Pidhorodnie in June 2025.
Notable people of Pidhorodne
Bandura player Oleksa Koval (1910–1978), who founded the local museum in 1967, was born here, as was Volodymyr Shevchenko (1941–2024), rector of Donetsk National University, NAS academician and Hero of Ukraine. Artist and sculptor Johann Peter Klassen (1888–1975), physical chemist Izrail Neimark (1907–1997) and historian Vasyl Spytskyi (1918–2005) also come from the town.
Pidhorodne today
The town stands on the Kilchen River near its confluence with the Samara and is a northern suburb of Dnipro. Landmarks include the Oleksa Koval Museum of Local History, the Church of St John the Theologian, the Kobzar Art Centre and the tower of the Kronsgarten colony. The Kilchen landscape reserve of 100 hectares, created in 1974, lies nearby. A courier will bring flowers to any part of the town.
