When I placed the order, I was probably nervous and accidentally added 10 years to my mother's age. She is 73 years old, not 83 as I wrote. Nevertheless, everything was very correct, pleasant, and exactly as I asked you. Thank you very much. I have now registered on your website and will definitely order a delivery for my mother's birthday on June 22 (she was born in 1941, at 4 o'clock when the bombing of Kyiv began). I am sure everything will be excellent. Thank you very much for existing and bringing celebration to our everyday life. Thank you. (Question: my mother said she was photographed. Flower Delivery in Zhmerynka by UFL

Zhmerynka in brief

In the early 18th century Zhmerynka was a village of the Brailiv volost. The Kyiv–Balta railway changed everything: a junction station was founded here in 1865 between the villages of Velyka and Mala Zhmerynka, and the first station building opened on 25 February 1870. Zhmerynka became a town on 18 November 1903. Symon Petliura stayed here when the capital of the Ukrainian People's Republic was temporarily moved to Zhmerynka, and on 18 March 1944 the town was liberated after 975 days of Nazi occupation.

Famous people of Zhmerynka

Natives include Polish poet Jan Brzechwa (1898–1966), illustrator Anatolii Bazylevych (1926–2005), Mykola Livytskyi (1907–1989), President of the UPR in exile, and actress Marharyta Tsymbal. Locals also honour Heroes of Ukraine Valerii Brezdeniuk (1963–2014) and Leonid Polianskyi (1975–2014), participants of the Revolution of Dignity.

Zhmerynka today

The town's pride is the railway station of 1899–1904 by architect Zynovii Zhuravskyi, shaped like a ship under sail. Nearby stands the Ostap Bender monument, while the Shevchenko monument, St Alexius Church and the history museum with Mykhailo Masliuk's microminiatures are also worth a visit. Zhmerynka is known for its varenyky in kysil. We deliver bouquets to any address in Zhmerynka.

Where Else We Deliver

Zhmerynka is a railway town that grew around an 1865 junction and is famous for Zynovii Zhuravskyi's ship-shaped station. You can also order flowers to the regional centre, Vinnytsia. We also deliver nearby: Hnivan (18 km), Tyvriv (29 km), Bar (32 km), Lityn (32 km), Sharhorod (33 km).
