Thank you for your message, Lev! Probably the florist did not have hypericum in stock, otherwise it would definitely have been used in the bouquet. Thank you for your order!

Спасибо за Ваше сообщение, Лев! Вероятно, у флориста не было в наличие гиперикума, иначе его обязательно использовали в букете. Спасибо за заказ!

Bortnychi: from a beekeepers’ land to a Kyiv neighbourhood
Bortnychi first appears in writing in 1508, when its owner Saltan Albertovych sold this “bortna” land to St Nicholas Monastery. The name comes from the old word “bort” — a hollow tree where wild bees nested. As a village Bortnychi is recorded from 1598; it belonged to the Boryspil company of the Pereiaslav and, from 1752, the Kyiv Cossack regiment. In 1885 it was a state village by the Mlynne and Tynnytsia lakes with 135 households and 1,032 residents. It became an urban-type settlement on 21 December 1987 and was incorporated into Kyiv on 26 August 1988.
Bortnychi today
Today Bortnychi is a historic neighbourhood in south-eastern Kyiv, in Darnytskyi District, reached via Svitla, Yevhena Kharchenka and Ivana Diachenka streets. A late Trypillian settlement on a sandy Dnipro terrace here was excavated by Vikentii Khvoika in 1912. A church built in 1944 stands on Levadna Street, on the site of the older Church of the Intercession. Locals still navigate by the old quarters — Mostova, Sloboda, Orokhiv, Berezniaky, Kalanchak, Hora, Demydivka. Our courier will bring flowers to any street in Bortnychi.
Where We Deliver
Bortnychi is part of Kyiv, so our courier arrives from Darnytskyi District along Svitla Street, past Boryspilska metro station. We deliver across the whole area: the old part around Mostova and Sloboda, Orokhiv and Berezniaky, Kalanchak in the north and Hora in the south, Demydivka and Borova, and the new blocks of the Ideia residential complex. Handy meeting points include lyceums No. 280 and No. 305, the church on Levadna Street and Svitla, Yevhena Kharchenka and Ivana Diachenka streets. For houses in the private sector, the street name and house number are enough. Central Kyiv is about 21 km away in a straight line.
