Ukrainian Air Assault Forces Day is celebrated every year on 21 November. The date was set in 2017, when the high-mobility airborne troops received a new name, insignia and maroon berets; previously paratroopers celebrated on 2 August. 21 November also coincides with the Day of Dignity and Freedom. Air assault troops are the first to go where it is hardest: they storm, hold the line and liberate cities. Below are short and formal Air Assault Forces Day wishes, words from family and comrades, thanks to the paratroopers, poems and ways to support them.

On the same day: Day of Dignity and Freedom wishes. More for defenders: Land Forces Day wishes, Defenders Day wishes.

Air Assault Day poems

The sky and earth are where you fight,
Your courage is your guiding star;
May every dream come true and bright
And luck stay with you near and far!

You're first to go where it is hard,
Where fire burns and danger's near;
May angels keep you on your guard
And bring you home to those held dear!

How to support the paratroopers

The best support is a donation to a specific air assault brigade: drones, thermal imagers, tourniquets, vehicles. Paratroopers' families need attention and help. Flowers suit veterans and those on leave: deep red roses echo the beret, sunny yellow ones the flag.
