The last weeks of December are when we rush to wrap things up, decorate the house and send greetings before the clock strikes midnight. “Happy upcoming New Year” messages go to colleagues before the office party, friends you won’t see over the holidays, partners and family in other cities. Here are short wishes for the coming New Year 2027, messages in your own words, for colleagues and clients, for family, in verse — plus tips on when to send them.

Longer message

  • In just a few days a new year begins. It is worth pausing for a moment to be thankful for everything: the people beside us, the small victories, the experience that made us stronger. May 2027 bring peace and calm, warmth at home and faith in better days. Happy New Year in advance!

When to send “upcoming New Year” wishes

  • Colleagues and partners: on the last working day before the holidays or before the office party. Friends you won’t see: 29–31 December. Family abroad: mind the time zones. After midnight on 31 December, simply say “Happy New Year”.

New Year poems

The New Year’s standing at the door,
The snow is falling soft and slow.
May worries vanish evermore
And all your dreams begin to grow!

Happy New Year, coming soon!
May peace and joy be yours to keep,
May every day be bright as noon
And every night bring gentle sleep!

Flowers and gifts for the New Year

Before New Year it is nice to send more than words. Red roses with baby’s breath look like a snowy garden and set a festive mood, while white roses suit any holiday décor. For colleagues and partners, corporate arrangements or gift baskets work well — order early, as delivery demand peaks in the last days of December.
