Friends and relatives who have moved are greeted with wishes of comfort, prosperity and many happy years in their new place. Below are short housewarming wishes, messages for friends, family and colleagues, wishes for a young family, funny wishes, poems and gift ideas. Other big moments — a new home, a new job, an engagement — are in our collection of wishes for life events. Gift ideas are collected in housewarming gift ideas.

Other family celebrations: wedding wishes and new baby wishes; all-purpose texts — happy birthday wishes.

Housewarming poems

Happy housewarming, friends so dear!
May joy and laughter fill each year,
Within these brand-new walls of yours
May love and luck come through the doors!

A brand-new home, a brand-new start,
May it be close to every heart,
May worries never find the way
And happiness be here to stay!
