Inventors' and Innovators' Day in Ukraine is celebrated every year on the third Saturday of September. It was established by a presidential decree in 1994. It is a day for everyone who sees familiar things in a new way: engineers and scientists who patent their work, factory innovators, IT specialists, student inventors and all the clever people who improve the world around them every day. Ukrainians have given the world many inventions, and today our engineers create technologies that help defend the country.
