Ukrainian Navy Day Wishes

Ukrainian Navy Day is celebrated every year on the first Sunday of July. The date was set by a presidential decree in 2015, as July marks several events in Ukrainian naval history, from Prince Oleh of Kyiv's campaign against Constantinople in 907 to the adoption of the Ukrainian People's Republic naval flag law in July 1918. Today Ukrainian sailors, marines and sea drone operators defend the coast and keep shipping lanes open. Below are short and formal Navy Day wishes, words for family and comrades, thanks to the sea defenders, poems and ways to support them.

More for defenders: Air Force Day wishes, National Guard Day wishes, Armed Forces Day wishes.

Short Navy Day wishes

• Happy Navy Day! Calm seas, fair winds and a safe return home.
• Happy holiday to the defenders of the sea! Strength, endurance and victory.
• Happy Ukrainian Navy Day! May every course lead to victory and may home port always be waiting.
• Thank you for a free sea and safe shipping corridors. Happy holiday!

From family to a sailor

• Son, the sea has taken you only for a while, and we are waiting on the shore. We are proud of you and believe in you. Happy holiday!
• My love, may the waves be gentle and the way home short. I love you and I am waiting!

For comrades and marines

• Comrades, happy holiday! May equipment run smoothly, drones hit their targets and every sortie end well.
• Marines, you are the pride of the fleet. We stand together!

Formal wishes

• Dear sailors, marines and all servicemembers of the Ukrainian Navy, please accept our sincere congratulations on your professional holiday. Your courage gave Ukraine back control over the western Black Sea and safe trade routes.
• We wish you good health, strength of spirit, success in your missions and a peaceful sea.

Thanks to the sea defenders

• Thank you for every grain ship that leaves our ports and for every day the enemy fleet keeps away from our shore.
• Eternal memory to the sailors and marines who died defending Ukraine.

Navy Day poems

May every sea be calm for you,
May winds fill every sail you raise,
May every course lead victory through
And bring you home to peaceful days!

From Black Sea waves to Azov's shore
You guard the coast we call our own;
May fortune steer you evermore
And bring you safely back to home.

How to support the sailors

The best support is a donation for sea drones and the needs of Navy and marine units, plus a kind word to their families. Flowers suit veterans, sailors on leave and their families: light bouquets with a sea mood or sunny yellow roses recall the summer when the holiday is marked.
