Ukrainian Psychologists' Day is celebrated every year on 23 April. On this day we greet practising and school psychologists, psychotherapists, military psychologists, crisis counsellors and psychology lecturers. During the war their work has become especially important: they support soldiers, veterans, children and everyone coping with loss or stress. Below are short Psychologists' Day wishes, thank-you words from clients, messages for colleagues, formal texts, poems and gift ideas. Other professional dates for the year are in our calendar of professional holidays in Ukraine.
Happy Psychologists' Day! Strength, inspiration and energy for yourself and for others.
Congratulations on your professional holiday! May your work bring people peace and bring you joy.
Happy 23 April! Thank you for knowing how to listen and truly hear.
May there always be someone who takes care of you too. Happy holiday!
From a client to their psychologist
Thank you for helping me see the light again. Your support changed my life. Happy Psychologists' Day!
You taught me to be kinder to myself. I wish you the same care in return.
For fellow psychologists
Colleagues, happy holiday! May supervision be useful, clients motivated and your own resources inexhaustible.
I wish us professional growth, a supportive community and time to rest. We do important work!
Formal wishes
Dear psychologists, please accept our sincere congratulations on your professional holiday. Your work helps people stay whole in the hardest times, at the front, in hospitals, schools and families.
We wish you good health, professional success, inner balance and peace.
For a school psychologist
Thank you for giving our children someone to turn to with worries or hurt. You are the school's quiet support. Happy holiday!
We wish you patience, wisdom and grateful students who will remember you warmly.
How to celebrate with the team
Thanks and certificates — recognise everyone's contribution, even with a few words at a team meeting.
Morning flowers for the office — a bouquet for the team or small arrangements on each desk set a festive mood.
A team photo — take a group picture to hang in the office or post on the website.
A wishes board — everyone leaves a few kind words for colleagues on sticky notes.
An informal get-together — lunch, a picnic or a board-game evening after work.
Toasts for the team celebration
Colleagues, here's to our profession! May our work bring not only a salary but also pride in what we do.
A toast to a team that isn't afraid of deadlines, inspections or Mondays. Cheers!
To the experience of those who've been here for years and the energy of those who've just joined. Together we're strong!
Here's to celebrating next year's professional holiday with new achievements and the same wonderful team!
What to write on a card with flowers
Happy birthday! May this bouquet remind you how many people love you.
For the best moments of the year — flowers, sincere words and hugs.
May every day be as bright as this bouquet.
Happy birthday! Wishing you health, peace and joy in the little things.
Sign the card by hand: even two lines in your handwriting mean more than a long printed message.
Psychologists' Day poems
You listen with your heart and mind, You find the light in darkest days; May peace and joy be yours to find And kindness meet you on your ways!
You heal the soul without a pill, With gentle words and patient care; May life be bright and calm and still And happiness be always there!
Gift ideas for a psychologist
Psychologists appreciate gifts that help them recharge: a massage or spa voucher, good tea, a cosy blanket, a psychology book. Flowers are a universal thank-you: soft hydrangeas and roses in pastel tones create a calm atmosphere in the office.
