When you live abroad, a bouquet for your mother or partner is more than a gift: it is a way to be there. Yet ordering flowers from Warsaw or Toronto is trickier than it looks: a different time zone, a foreign card, a recipient who should not know about the surprise. Here is how to arrange delivery in Ukraine so that it arrives on time and to the right person.
Start with the recipient's city
Choose the delivery city first, before paying. It determines the range, the delivery price and the delivery time: bouquets are made by florists in the recipient's city, so the composition and seasonal substitutions are agreed when you order. The list of locations is on the delivery cities page.
- Kyiv: free delivery from 1000 UAH, minimum order 1000 UAH, delivery from 09:00 to 21:00.
- Other cities and Kyiv region: the price depends on the address and the time slot is agreed separately; remote locations may cost extra.
Time: count in Kyiv time
All delivery windows are given in Kyiv time. This is the main trap for anyone living in the Americas: your evening is already night in Ukraine. Check the time difference between your city and Kyiv.
- Standard delivery: 3–4 hours after payment.
- Express: 1–2 hours, Kyiv only and for an extra fee; an operator confirms availability before payment.
- Morning before 11:00: pay by 18:00 Kyiv time the day before. That is 17:00 in Warsaw, 16:00 in London and 11:00 in New York.
- Evening from 21:00 to 23:00: place the order during working hours, before 19:00.
The simplest rule if you live abroad: order a day ahead. You can choose a bouquet at a time that suits you, and the florists will have it ready by morning.
How to pay with a foreign card
You can pay from any country. All methods are shown at checkout and described in detail on the payment page.
- Visa or Mastercard online, including Google Pay and Apple Pay: instant, 1.5% payer fee.
- PayPal: instant, 2% fee. Handy if you prefer not to enter card details.
- If none of these suits you, write to the online chat and an operator will suggest an option.
Your bank may convert the amount from hryvnias into your currency at its own rate, so the statement may differ slightly. Why bouquets that look alike can cost differently is explained in what drives a bouquet's price.

Recipient details and the surprise
Delivery requires the city, exact address, date and the recipient's phone number. The number is needed even for a surprise: the courier calls to make sure the person is at home. During the call, neither the sender nor the bouquet is mentioned, only what is needed to deliver it. If the recipient asks to change the address or time, the courier follows the new arrangement.
- Surprise: mark it before payment.
- Delivery without a call is possible only by prior agreement: the address must be exact and the person must be there. If nobody opens the door, within 24 hours you need to provide a phone number and pay for a second trip.
- Office or hotel: give the company name, building, floor and full name for security; the bouquet can be left at reception.
What to choose when you cannot come
A gift from abroad often replaces a visit, so things that remind them of you for a long time work best.
- Flowers in a box need no vase, which is convenient for elderly parents.
- A fruit basket is a practical gift when you want to add care to the flowers. See our fruit baskets.
- A classic bouquet for Mom: browse flowers for Mom.
- For a friend's or sister's birthday: see birthday flowers.

The card: your voice from afar
When you are far away, the card counts twice as much. Add the city you are writing from and a promise to meet: "Hugs from Krakow, home by Christmas". Ready-made wording is collected in what to write on a flower card.
Holidays: order in advance
Before Valentine's Day, March 8, Mother's Day and the New Year holidays, florists work at full capacity. On peak days an exact time cannot be guaranteed without a reserved slot, and for 13–15 February it is best to order early and agree on the time window before payment. If you live abroad, order a few days ahead while there is still a choice.
Checklist before payment
- City and full address, including entrance, floor and intercom code.
- Recipient's phone in Ukrainian format.
- Date and preferred time window, in Kyiv time.
- A "surprise" note if the recipient should not know in advance.
- Card text and signature.
- Your e-mail or messenger, keeping your own time zone in mind.

FAQ
Can I order delivery for today?
Yes, if you order within working hours: standard delivery takes 3–4 hours after payment. Kyiv also has express delivery in 1–2 hours for an extra fee, confirmed by an operator before payment.
What currency do I pay in?
Prices on the site are in hryvnias. If you pay with a card in euros, dollars or zloty, your bank converts the amount automatically at its own rate.
Will the recipient know who sent the flowers?
Only from the card, if you sign it. The courier does not name the sender during the call.
What if my family has moved to another city?
Choose the city where the person is now: delivery covers Ukraine, and the price and time slot appear once you select the city. To send flowers outside Ukraine, see the section on other countries on the delivery page; such orders are best paid 1–2 days in advance.
