Ukraine's Day of Architecture is celebrated every year on 1 July. It was established by a presidential decree in 1995 and at the time coincided with World Architecture Day. The International Union of Architects later moved its day to the first Monday of October, but Ukraine kept 1 July. On this day we greet architects, urban planners, restorers, interior designers and architecture lecturers. Below are short and formal Architects' Day wishes, messages for colleagues and loved ones, funny lines, poems and gift ideas.

Architects' Day poems

You build whole cities first on paper,
Then raise them up in stone and glass;
May every plan become a landmark
And every dream come true at last!

May every line you draw lead on
To joy and harmony and grace;
May all your projects carry on
To make the world a better place!

Gift ideas for an architect

Architects value aesthetics and simplicity, so choose gifts with character: an architecture book, quality sketchbooks and fineliners, a desk lamp. For flowers, go for boxed arrangements with clean geometry or a classic rose bouquet that looks stylish in any interior.
