Lines for flowers “just because” (our own)

A “just because” bouquet is loved for the surprise, so its note should be simple and warm. A few short lines we wrote for exactly that:

  • “No reason. You are the reason.”
  • “Just an ordinary day. Let’s make it a little better.”
  • “These flowers didn’t wait for a holiday, and neither did I.”
  • “A reminder that someone is thinking of you.”
  • “A little spring in the middle of the week.”
  • “No date on the calendar, but straight from the heart.”
  • “Just because. Because I can.”
  • “May your home smell as bright as you are.”

Write the card by hand: even one short line in your own handwriting means more than a long printed message.

How to use a flower quote

  • Write the quote on a gift card and add a few words of your own.
  • For Instagram, choose a short line; long quotes are harder to read.
  • When quoting, name the author; it is both fair and elegant.
  • Match the quote to the occasion: roses for an anniversary, hope and blossom for spring.

Flowers to go with the quote

A quote easily becomes a gift: write it on a card to go with the bouquet. Roses suit lines about love; spring tulips suit words about hope and new beginnings.
