Valentine's Day
red or pink roses, a flower box with sweets
March 8
tulips, mimosa, daffodils — spring seasonal flowers
First date
a small bouquet in soft shades that's easy to hold
Apology
white roses or tulips with a card

How to present flowers beautifully
Hand over the bouquet with the stems pointing down and without excess wrapping. For a date choose a compact arrangement so she doesn't have to carry a large bouquet all evening. If she's at work or in another city, order delivery with a card — a surprise from a courier is memorable. At home, a flower box that needs no vase makes a lovely decoration.
Mistakes to avoid
Giving flowers she is allergic to — for example, strongly scented lilies if she is sensitive.
Bringing a huge bouquet somewhere with nowhere to put it: the cinema, a restaurant or a walk.
